Security
AirVPN
Edit: looking through the list of changes[2] does not inspire a lot of confidence in their fork.[1] https://github.com/AirVPN/openvpn3-airvpn[2] https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn3/compare/master
CyberGhost
On top of all that, CyberGhost uses to the standard AES 256 connection (Military), a Standard Kill switch and other protocols like Wireguard, Ikev2 if you need those for some reason. And for extra peace of mind: a strict no log policy, and a location outside of the 5 eyes surveillance alliance (Romania)
Speed
AirVPN
At one point, and I don't know why, I had amazing speeds with AirVPN for 10 min, only on Deluge and nothing else. I thought I had found the answer but nope, a half hour later I couldn't get anything to download anymore. I have not been able to repeat that success again. And to be very clear, despite wanting this for movies and TV shows, my test torrents are linux distributions and public domain stuff
CyberGhost
4. To see if I could improve on the torrneting speeds without paying ExpressVPN prices, I tried CyberGhost, which is erroneously dubbed the torrenting VPN. They are the worst of the four, IMO. More expensive than Surfshark with Surfshark's slow speeds, and very slow server switching for some reason
Cost
CyberGhost
The problem is: In my country, I'd bay 49€ for CyberGhost, but 90€ for NordVPN.
