Security
IPVanish
Get a VPN with “no logging”, I use IPVanish. Stay away from ruTorrent, I like Qbittorrent myself. Consider not even using a VPN and going with a Usenet account and subscribing to private trackers. That is guaranteed to not get busted
Express VPN
I currently have expressvpn which I loan from my friend. Is this vpn so bad that I shouldn’t even use it? I looked at the prices and it’s price range is in the high end (a good sign?). If I bind it correctly and don’t seed that much, will I be safe using that, in matter of leaking my own ip and then companies sue me? Thanks in advance 🤩
Privacy
IPVanish
I'm the CEO of StackPath and we acquired IPVanish in February, 2017 (more than a year after the lawsuit from 2016). With no exception IPVanish does not, has not, and will not log or store logs of our users as a StackPath company. Most important, StackPath will defend the privacy of our users regardless of who demands otherwise. I can't speak to what happened on someone else's watch but Technology is my life and I've spent my career helping customers build on and use the Internet on their terms

Speed
Express VPN
I was pleasently surprised by the speeds. My direct to ISP specs are 8 ms latency, 330 Mbps down, 17 Mbps up. With Express if I picked the geographically closest server I could get the latency down to about 25 ms, about 270 Mbps down, and 14 Mbps up. I'm totally good with that
