Security
ProtonVPN
For example. ProtonVPN was dinged for not having done an independent security audit in the past 24 months. However, this ignores the fact that ProtonVPN is open source, so its continuously independently audited, which is a better security model than periodic audits.
CyberGhost
On top of all that, CyberGhost uses to the standard AES 256 connection (Military), a Standard Kill switch and other protocols like Wireguard, Ikev2 if you need those for some reason. And for extra peace of mind: a strict no log policy, and a location outside of the 5 eyes surveillance alliance (Romania)
Speed
ProtonVPN
I'm evaluating Protonvpn with the free version. WiFi is connected. Internet, iMessage is working.
CyberGhost
4. To see if I could improve on the torrneting speeds without paying ExpressVPN prices, I tried CyberGhost, which is erroneously dubbed the torrenting VPN. They are the worst of the four, IMO. More expensive than Surfshark with Surfshark's slow speeds, and very slow server switching for some reason
